Papers in Level 1

  • Business and Technology is aimed at teaching the fundamental business concepts, such as types of organizations and their environments, and the effect of technology on their operations. It makes students appreciate the operational dynamics of a business. 
  •  Management Accounting aspect of the ACCA qualification focuses on budgeting, cost control, and performance measurement in order to facilitate better business decisions. This area of study helps in developing skills that are essential in looking ahead and managing resources while integrating financial information into the overall strategy of the organization. 
  • Financial Accounting is concerned with the preparation and publication of financial statements in adherence to the relevant international standards. It examines the principles of the recording of transactions, the concepts of assets and liabilities, and the provision of financial reporting to different stakeholders. 

Exam Format: Computer-based with interactive questions, including multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and drop-down menus.

Exam Duration: 2 hours for each paper

Passing Criteria: A minimum score of 50% to pass each paper.

Exam Session: ACCA offers flexible exam scheduling in the Applied Knowledge Level, allowing you to book exams anytime throughout the year at your convenience. Simply choose your preferred date and take the exam when you’re ready.

 

Under this scheme, Bright tuition fee will be reduced based on subject-wise grades of class 11 or 12 (whichever student chooses). The grades and discount are as follows:

3.3 GPA = 5% Scholarship on tuition fees
3.4 GPA = 10% Scholarship on tuition fees
3.5 GPA = 15% Scholarship on tuition fees
3.6 GPA = 20% Scholarship on tuition fees
3.7 GPA = 25% Scholarship on tuition fees
3.8 GPA = 35% Scholarship on tuition fees
3.9 GPA = 45% Scholarship on tuition fees
